Do you want to play it, but don't currently own a PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita? Good news! Drinkbox Studios will be bringing the game, plus all of the DLC, plus even more shit to PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One AND Wii U, with Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition. No release date is currently known, but I'd imagine a 2014 date is likely. It's a good game, so you should play it when it does come out on your console of choice. Apparently, he left EA to start his own company and blames both, EA and Nintendo for NFS not selling. I suppose I can sympathise, though bitching about a full priced, year old port that didn't come with all the DLC not selling just seems silly.

But then again, anyone who's been in the industry around the time of Bullfrog already knew that. He's certaintly right to blame the publishers for fucking up more than the developers ever did, especially considering that DLC aside NFS WiiU was actually the definitive version. For all the harping on I've done about Ninty fucking up their entire launch window, though, I'm not actually seeing where they're at fault here. Frontpage ads for new releases on WiiU's OS certaintly wouldn't go amiss, granted, but do publishers honestly expect the hardware manufacturer to do their marketing for them?

If Nintendo had to promote the shit out of anything, it was those two, exclusive titles, so even then, they're kinda dumb for competing with them and expecting preferential treatment.

If you haven't finished reading anything there, you will have until September 30th, when the servers are shut down for good. Anything that's not available directly through the website is unaffected; WayForward's Wonder Momo game is still coming.

Particularly because everything in the game, he could have just aired on TV with absolutely no problem whatsoever. It's not all bad, though. He did get a few joke opportunities out of the whole censorship deal, so he's not entirely disappointed. Here's the full interview from The Guardian.
