Nintendo, do yourself a favour, buy Sega, since you're practically best buds already (wouldn't have thought I'd ever say that a few years back) and, by extension, Atlus. Also, look into WayForward, a large bulk of their releases are on your consoles, think of the kind of output they'll have with your backing and budget. I would really love to see them handle the next 2D Metroid.

I swear, I must be the only person who sees the similarities in concepts between Super Mario 3D World and Sonic Lost World (the word "World" in the title notwithstanding). Seriously, it should just happen. Also, since they've got such a fantastic rapport with Platinum Games, that's also a really lucrative option. I know the Platinum guys left a big name company to strike out on their own and gain some form of independence, but it doesn't hurt to be working under a company like Nintendo, most of the time. The downside will be not being able to produce things for other consoles, or work on licensed products though (right, like Platinum's going to be working on the next Batman game or something, hah).

Posts: 17,366 Group: All Powerful Deity Member #1 Joined: December 30, 2005	It'd be completely viable, they pulled off another studio's property a lot better than them (Metal Gear Rising Revengeance insertothersubtitleherewiththeletterR). While the studio is better known for their more action oriented titles, they HAVE put other stuff out there like Infinite Space, a tactical, space sim RPG hybrid. I'm sure they can pull off a stealth sandbox brawler like Batman quite easily. :3

Posts: 17,366 Group: All Powerful Deity Member #1 Joined: December 30, 2005	Duke Nukem never had any dignity, that's why he was so popular. :P I get that he's kind of a relic of the 90's, but I'm sure people can still enjoy his shenanigans as long as we're getting quality gameplay to go along with the racy and controversial stuff. For the record, while DNF wasn't really a great game, I still found it entertaining. Wish the damn thing worked on my PC though.

For fuck's sake Keiji you already got called out on this for Alien: Isolation, are we really going to do this again? The fact that it's billed as an RPG does come off as odd, though, but it's not like I'm complaining if Duke makes fun of them. DNF was kinda reaching at the bottom of the barrel as far as shooter tropes goes.

Which begs the question of why we don't have the entire Wii VC and download store contents on the WiiU to begin with, considering that not only is the WiiU backwards compatible, it's effectively the exact same hardware with a power boost.
