This is a fairly dull news(?) thingy, but after seeing the usual "best games of the year" articles, particularly the ones from Kotaku, where each contributor gave their personal favourites, I've decided to go all "fuck it" and do my own best of 2013 post on NB's blog when I get back. I'd do it while here, but a few games I have in mind are either on the PS3, 360 or Wii U and I may not have played them in a while, so I need to boot them up again to articulate my thoughts. Also need to research things like release dates and the like, as I'm thinking of using that blog post to maybe do "mini reviews" on each game I pick, to see how I do on the review front. If all goes well, I might move onto full scale reviews of games for NB's blog, as Seeco suggested I do when I gave some thoughts on Kingdom Hearts 3D a while ago via Facebook :3 You know, that's not a bad idea. Hell, maybe we could all pitch in and each do our own top whatever games of 2013 and make it one big post. Not that anyone else would care but, fuck it, it'll be fun.

I mean, I know mine would be different in a few senses, as I haven't played most of the really popular games that came out this year, like Last of Us. But the rest? No idea. Having it all as one single post would be kind of a mess, but understandable, since not everyone here can post on the blog.

But now thinking of it, Marvel vs Capcom 2 and 3 stuff was taken off PSN and Live recently with MvC Origins staying up. Wouldn't be surprised if that just randomly got taken off at some point now that it's been done without notice for some other titles (primarily involving Marvel characters).

The sad thing is these companies will probably chalk them up as successes without even counting the trade-in rate. Like they pride themselves more on swindling people out of their money than making a product that can justify their purchase. And that's pretty screwed up.
