Well, yes but I don't think the plan was to fail :P. It's sad to watch him go out like this, though. Regarding Project M, It just kind of feels Brawl really wasn't made for Melee physics and some movements feel really jarring to watch/do. It might just be me, or the emulation but I find myself wanting all the cosmetic and level changes from the mod without the gameplay changes. I'm sick of playing Brawl on the same four or five levels. (The only few that don't randomly kill someone throughout the fight. I hate when a stage takes my kill!)
What were your issues with it, out of curiosity? Obviously it has it's problems... But I'm used to that in AAA games. I did not expect such a fun romp with an FPS as I had with Infinite but perhaps I only adore it so due to that surprise. And also being new to the series and not expecting RPG elements xD
I have to disagree because that can't always be a true statement. We, or rather, the internet, has held many a person in high regard for being an asshole to someones face, as long as it's on someone we morally, or maybe even intellectually, decided was awful and deserved it. For example, how people currently adore putting Fish down as much as possible. Seems to be in the thousands. Deeming him the scum of the earth from safely behind their computer monitors. I'm not saying he's a good person, I'm just saying we aren't much better and, as always, it seems like everyone needs to get over themselves a little bit, instead of jumping to these retarded standards that we only hold against people when someone makes enough noise. Or someone else tells us too. Meanwhile, EA spews out the same crap every year (and every other year) and our overall response is to give them money. Occasionally, we ask for answers, get one of like, ten default responses and call it a I just can't help but feel; if we grabbed a politician, an(y) EA CEO and Phil Fish and somehow managed to hear all their inner-monologues for a 24-hour period, Fish is most like to be the least reprehensible being by far. Weirdest, maybe. But he's probably the only one of the three that you could label as a free-thinker. I've gotten way to far into this though. I'm starting to feel invested when I really don't care about the guy - it's just the way the internet reacts sometimes that really shits me. "Oh, someone, somewhere is being an asshole? No way! Quick, we need those page views!" Yes, he was a dick. My friends are dicks sometimes too. Shit happens. We should care when it matters instead of using our internet time to abuse this one guy, that we don't know from a grain of salt. One guy who still hasn't actually lied to us - just said things he thought were true. Imagine being hated daily for that, by hundreds of people. I think you would do and say some pretty stupid shit too :). k, I'm done, sorry guys |

Oh wait, you said Project M, not Other M. Whoops, my bad. I haven't tried it myself, but I know from enthusiasts that is has emulation problems. I disliked Bioshock Infinite because it made all the powers near worthless with the abundance of superior methods with traditional guns. I dislike how you could almost never run out of ammo, salts, and health as your personal supply maid would constantly hork out just what you needed when you needed it. It goes against what the first two games built upon, which was creative use of useful powers to compliment the standard weapons and having to kinda be smart about your fighting, especially of large threats. (A horrible irony that they watered-down an otherwise very wet series by removing almost all the water. ;P ) |

 There is something worryingly missing in this picture. EDIT: Nevermind, the trailer this was taken from seemed to be referring to the limited edition, so I guess the WiiU isn't getting one of those? Last I heard, the basic limited edition is the standard edition. And skipping the Wii U entirely doesn't seem to be one of Ubisoft's traits anyway, since they absolutely adore new consoles because money. Either way, those boxes look like the basic versions. What may suggest otherwise is that little bit on the PS4 boxart in the front, but Sony's platforms have been guaranteed exclusive content in Ubisoft's major games since Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. |

Since we were talking about Watch_Dogs earlier: EB Games AU is running, or will be, a short and kinda odd contest for about four days after the game's launch here. Basically, you need to both pre-order and actually pick up the game, any edition for any console, then disclose the receipt number on EB's Facebook page app thingy. And the prizes are pretty fucking awesome. One of five PSVita's, one of five PS4's (when the console launches) and one incredibly lucky bastard will get Aiden's fucking car. |

Saints Row 4 cleared for sale in Australia. After cutting the anal probe and that one drug mission entirely, of course. Thankfully the latter was just a side mission according to the article, so if nothing else it's good to know I'm not missing anything particularly important. Still fucking stupid that the government insists on controlling what grown adults can do in their games. |
