No, it kinda looks like Spiderman, but we'll have to wait and see.

No see, I was just really surprised they used make up and a suit as opposed to CG is all.

I love the makeup, though, I agree, they should have given him some more face prosthetics.

Honestly, I'm all for eliminating most CG in our movies.

I think CG should only be reserved for some REALLY difficult to shoot scenes that animatronics and makeup/costumes can't handle. I know CG's come a long way over the past few decades, but it still doesn't feel real when I see a CG monster as opposed to an animatronic one.

I'm about the same. Budget also plays a role, as it is less expensive to make a CG model as opposed to an animatronic one.

I like it when people use the word "gay" in any context other than a homosexual one - it only proves that they have the maturity of a five year old, as if their obsession with shooters didn't already do a good job of pointing that out. It's also pretty amusing that he pointed out Skyrim considering the fact that, y'know, it's set in the bloody medival era and doesn't even have muskets, let alone generic modern firearms.

But just for fun, let's play around with his logic a bit.

game - gun = gay
game + gun = -gay
game + gun + Arem = ???

Really? I figured it'd be the other way around, which is why CG is used more than the other stuff.

Animatronic things bring out more of that nostalgic feel that I love... like watching the Gremlins. Imagine if they used CG for them instead... eh. Would be interesting either way though.

I was actually thinking of something like Aliens; the creatures were mostly animatronics and guys in suits, but there were both, good and bad examples of scenes that used CG. If directors can get a perfect blend in, it would be pretty awesome, but they'd have to work extra hard to make the CG look real and not just rubbermen bouncing around and hitting each other. Thankfully, barring Venom, the other Spider-Man movies were good at keeping the CG segments real.

Can't hear anything on my end because something weird just happened with my audio drive.

I'd assume that's Captain George Stacey, which kinda blows because in the originals he was one of the few supporters of Spider-Man. Owait, this is Ultimates right?

*checks shit up*

Yeeeeaaaah, now it makes more sense.

I heard they were borrowing some elements from the Ultimate Spider-Man.
