Finished FF Type-0. Seemed really short. Some parts of the ending I didn't quite understand, but part of it was pretty damn sad. Thinking of buying Splatoon since my Wii U collection pretty much has been 2 disc games. Was also thinking of upgrading to the new handheld 3ds and selling the old, but I can't see any justification to do this other than getting Majora's Mask/DreamDrop, and using it for smash brothers without eye squinting. Ok, I gave in and bought Splatoon today. It's awesome! Although, there's some absurdly stupid things about it... 1. If you enter an online lobby, there is no BACK button to go to the hub. You have to wait for people to join, play another game, and then it'll ask you if you want to play again or not. The only way to get out is to turn off the Wii U. Holy shit I can't believe someone thought that was a good idea. 2. The only way to change your weapon is to equip it outside the lobby. You can't switch weapons in the middle of battle, not even on loadout. Why the ever-living fuck? Edited by Havoc the Tenrec, Jun 3 2015, 02:01 PM.

Been playing Destiny a bit more lately, alongside Splatoon and the usual Final Fantasy XIV. I do like how the overworlds offer things for higher level players, but I also don't appreciate running headfirst into a level 30+ Fallen Captain at level 12 because he's camped up in a building that you have to regularly travel through to complete Patrol missions. Also the Blades of Crota seem to have vanished altogether in the wake of Expansion II, which makes a number of Eris Morn's bounties impossible to complete. At the very least I haven't seen them since as they appear in the same manner as the roaming House of Wolves groups. Edited by Luffy Foxtrot, Jun 3 2015, 12:03 PM.

This. I was leveling a warlock over the weekend and I had the bounty for getting 9000 exp without dying. I was grinding some vanguard rep as well just to kill two birds with one stone, and it just so happens the Queenbreaker Captain falls on that route and it was SO ANNOYING to try and kill the vandals in that room while also trying not to die. Let's just say that bounty was not cashed in for a while. |

J-Stars Victory Vs. + (PS4) Kinda just got a stealth release sometime over the past week (go figure) so I picked it up. It's pretty damn fun and is basically (as Keiji said) Anarchy Reigns with characters from series seialized in the JUMP comics. Gintoki is the best joke character. Well, him and Bo-bobo. The irritating thing is that some of the characters seem to be voiced by different people. I swear Ichigo and Koro-sensei sound nothing like their animated counterparts, which is a damn shame, especially since, in Koro-sensei's case, Assassination Classroom is still a very recent show that only aired its final episode a week ago at the very least. Despite that, good game, fair amount of fun, but so far I wouldn't say this is worth the $60 price tag that it likely has in the US (and definitely not worth the $100 price tag for the PS4 version in Australia publishers will you fucking stop this bullshit already) |

Yoshi's Wooly World (Wii U) Played this with my sister today and the chaos was glorious. Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush (Wii U) This wasn't quite as entertaining though, maybe because it was much later when we shifted to this and so we were getting tired. I dunno. Destiny (Xbox One) There is no way in hell I'm gonna clear out the Moments of Triumph before The Taken King drops, but I'm gonna get as much progress as I can done. Also it would be nice if the game would give me some Fusion Rifles so I can make some progress on this stupid Exotic Weapon bounty. -Summoners War (iOS/Android) -Soul Seeker (iOS/Android) -Sonic Runners (iOS/Android) On another note, I've been getting more and more into mobile games lately. Those three are the ones I've been having the most fun with lately that aren't Fruit Ninja or Jetpack Joyride or any other Halfbrick game. Also been loading up the ACIV: Black Flag companion app to do the Kenway's Fleet stuff but I haven't been assed to load up the actual game. Which is a shame, because I still stand by my opinion of this being the best Assassin's Creed game to date. Which isn't much of an accomplishment but still. Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS I set up Seeco's Mii as a Brawler on my game so I can fight alongside him or against him while I work on challenges. Luffy and Seeco, kicking all the ass. I need a more "genuine" version though, more tuned to how Seeco himself would tune it. And I don't think there's a QR code option for the thing. Shame. |

dOOOHMYGUD... I was just playing Splatoon... we were loosing, 100-1, 8 seconds left on the clock. I was like... pfftt, no. I put the controller down, because it was hopeless. Suddenly we get the base back and we go into overtime... I pickup the controller, and we actually came back. So yeah I got back into Splatoon.
