From the feel of it it's like Compile Heart and Idea Factory didn't even bother with quality control! It's pretty amazing how much they botched this on a technical level (game crashing on startup, DLC not working, certain dungeon types just plain not working, certain game elements causing game crashes when you try to save, ect..) That being said, it's a pretty fun game despite that and is actually able to run on my laptop with only some lag. Lag that I'm not entirely sure is because my laptop is too weak or if it's just unoptimized coding, since a lot of the people reporting on the issues have better specs than mine but are getting just as bad a frame rate.

That's because the remake was developed by a company called Felistella, for the Vita, and then ported to Steam. Not sure if the issue is a botched remake or a botched port.

I haven't tried going online since after the first day or two, and still laying campaign mode. I was visiting a beautiful small lake/park, ran into the lake and climbed on a high rock shaped like the Pride Rock from The Lion King. I went to the bathroom... and when I come back, some random senior citizen is standing behind me with a gun to my head. I knock him off by running into him, he falls into the lake and runs off into the distance. Then suddenly someone is trying to hack me... It was that old fucker. I think even when you're offline... you're still online. Because that was weird.

Hell, The Crew is one of those games that can only be played online. Wouldn't be surprised if Watch_Dogs was in the same boat.

Feels good when you buy games for $35 instead of $65. And I pre-ordered Xenoverse a few days ago and getting it in the morning... I couldn't wait for reviews.
