Hyperdimension Neptunia (PS3) I'm sure you guys have heard of this. For the uneducated, this seems like a mild parody of gaming and electronics in general. I couldn't help but grin at various phrases like 'Console War' and 'HDD (I forget what the acronym is in this game) Considering it's an NIS game, I think I'll leave it to Keiji to explain. I adore what I've played so far, though the combat could be faster. Kinda reminiscent of Eternal Sonata. Ape Escape: On the Loose (PSP) This is a remake/port of the first Ape Escape back on the PS1. I'm liking the nostalgia, but there are a few nitpicking issues. First and foremost, with the lack of a second control nub, the control scheme had to be mostly reworked. The Ape Escape games on the PS1 and PS2 prided themselves on using both sticks for movement. For once, it feels alien using the X button to jump, the equipment buttons to use the gadgets; and the R button to crouch/crawl/ground pound. Lack of a camera enter button doesn't help either. I can get over using the name Jake instead of Buzz, even though Buzz is a way cooler name...but the controls will take some getting used to. Still a fun game, though. I missed this game. Time Travel kicks ass, bitches. |

League of Legends (PC) Everyone should be playing this if you like team-based games, RTSes, Defence of the Ancients, or action RPGs. In fact, any one of those is a good reason to play this game. Best of all, it's free to play (though you can spend money for more characters if you don't want to play with the free "Characters of the Week" or you can play games to earn points to unlock individual characters.) This shit is like crack cocaine, man. |

People have been hyping up LoL for a while now...hell, my brother who barely ekes out a gaming existance plays it regularly. I wish I had more free time to give it a look, so maybe during the summer or something. |

We need to get a clan going for it. Normal games in LoL are generally "choose your character" ordeals with random people or with some people you know or combination thereof. At Summoner Level 30, however (which is many long hours of games), the new game mode can only be played by people with a premade group. You're expected to have huge chemistry with your team, especially considering that both teams choose which characters are allowed and denied to each other. |

LittleBigPlanet (PS3) Halo: Reach (360) Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (DS) I got LIVE now, so we can play on Halo: Reach bitches. And I'm happy to be reunited with the Sonic RPG. I was a master at this before my first DS was stolen. Now that I have a 3DS, I am reunited. |

Sonic Free Riders (360) I have more trouble than usual playing this because of my terrible set-up. Not really enough room; and terrible as fuck lighting. The fact that voice/speech recognition isn't supported in Australia bothers me a bit too. Best I can do is get Kinect to recognise me saying 'Start' and 'Next'. That's it. Rest is a complete bust, Sonic Colours (Wii) The script is fucking brilliant. The gameplay is fun, as always. Two player mode is also a joy with my sister. Want more. Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy (PSP) Meh, not much different than the first Dissidia. Pretty much just an upgrade, since you can migrate your save data to the sequel. |

Halo: Reach (360) Mainly Firefight and Campaign matchmaking. I've hit the Halo 3 bad luck syndrome in Competitive matchmaking, so I will only play them if good enough Challenges are involved. Otherwise, it's not worth my time. Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (DS) Playing it over and over again like a crack whore, just like the last time I owned this game. |
