Plus I've just gone through an entire section of the game that uses 'slippery ice' gimmicks in some form, so my patience for this is pretty low. On the other hand, I HAVE gotten all the red rings up to Silent Forest Act 3, so it's not impossible.

Places like Silent Forest Act 3 chew through lives if you're not good at wall running, and Lava Mountain act 2 just wrecks you no matter what if you're not used to it. Collected all the Red Rings, by the way, and Super Sonic is pretty fun to play as. The Hidden World is also a neat, trippy addition.

Posts: 4,950 Group: Elite Member #70 Joined: November 11, 2009	Halo 4 (360) Cousin's out shopping with Mum for a bit, so I can quickly satisfy the desire I had to play this, which sprung up suddenly while doing the Babylon Discussions thing with Arem, Arcana, Enzan and Seeco. Once Cousin gets back, I'll be switching over to either Mario Kart 8 or Final Fantasy XIV. Never mind, almost immediately as the main menu came up, they returned. So, no Halolz for teh Loofs. What is thi.... seriously needs a tutorial stage. Everything is too crazy, busy, and random. Zombie U Wii U demo: This was actually kind of scary... somehow hard to control a fight with the pad if you're in a corner though. Wind Waker HD: Nice to go back to it. This isn't Devil May Cry or any other hack n' slash for that matter, it's meant to be a more strategic game where you have to outweigh your weapon's cons against how fast you can down a beast. Best played with friends anyway. 2) The actual game's first level is essentially a tutorial level. I agree that the demo felt really awkward and all over the place. 3) I got this but still haven't played it yet. I'm hoping for a legit survival horror experience like the old RE games and Silent Hill. 4) Must've been a while since you played the original, there is a clear cut difference if you compare them side by side.

BL;DR Posts: 3,493 Group: Elite Member #80 Joined: September 7, 2010	It's also worth noting that the MH demo doesn't have any of the tutorials from what I hear, so just about everybody that plays it for the first time comes out unsatisfied because they have no idea what the fuck they should be doing. Hell, most people don't even find the large monster in the map they're supposed to be hunting because they're never told it exists. Trust me, the full game is a lot better than whatever you just played - the demo is pretty notorious just going off the Miiverse community alone. Speaking of which, decided to get back into MH3U for a while. Trying to relax mostly with HR3-4ers because this cold is still kicking my ass, so I decided to take up the opportunity to practice Switch Axes while I was at it. If anyone feels like hunting, feel free to Skype me up or something if I'm not already on the WiiU.
