Rayman Origins (PC) Got this one on the cheap, and I gotta say it is incredibly trippy and colorful. The platforming's pretty good. Also I'm 30 minutes in and I have no idea what the story is. |

The story's completely pointless. Ubisoft put no effort into it. Rayman and such pissed off the Livid Dead granny with their loud snoring, so she decides to take over Rayman's world. It's never referenced again beyond the start of the game and the climax ends up as something completely different. Pretty much my only gripe about the game. |

Beyond the stupid moral thing that locks off half of your potential abilities, inFAMOUS is a fun game, dammit. Same goes for the sequel. Even though the sequel is plagued by the same bullshit. |

I really thought the plot was boring and the characters were mediocre. It just seemed to me like half the game Prototype was. |

Digimon World Re:Digitize (PSP) A brief summary of my experience with this game: 1. Started with Agumon as my partner Digimon. He talked to me occasionally. 2. Evoled into Greymon, then died in a boss battle. Mainly because I'm a terrible Tamer since I have no idea hoe to play this thing. 3. Got a new partner after getting repeatedly scolded by Jijimon. Was able to pick from a selection of three or four Digieggs. Got Poyomon. 4. Evolved into Tokomon after constant training in the gym. Kept getting lost in the starting town since I can't read/understand Japanese. Then it evolved into Candlemon, rather than Patamon. Was a little upset at that. 5. Suddenly, Meramon! He's kicking ass, though only has one life left. Not sure if it's possible to restore lost Life Hearts. Got a "program" from a Chuumon that lets me walk on water. That's pretty much it. I'm trying to find my way back to that boss battle that I lost Greymon in. Whether or not Meramon will actually act like a partner and talk to me during cutscenes is something I still want to figure out, as well as the evolution conditions. There's an updated re-release in development for the 3DS called Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode. That's probably more likely to get localised than this one is, being on the PSP and all. I'll be importing it, regardless. Worth noting is that this was developed by Tri-Crescendo, the studio that made Eternal Sonata. It's a cool and fun game. I just don't know how to be better at it. Kinda like my experience with Phantasy Star Online 2, actually, though I'm a lot better at that. Just stuck on some of the Client Orders. Edited by Luffy Foxtrot, Mar 21 2013, 01:29 PM.

Currently playing Hellgate: London. I found out it's free to play now and free to download and got a head start on it since I've been dying to try this since day one. It's just as advertised; 3D Diablo with a sci-fi twist and I think it's quite enjoyable. I'm hoping people I know try it out *winkwinknudgenudge* so I can bro up with friends and kill demons together with them. ;D |
