Finished raping Metroid Prime Trilogy last night, Dark Samus is as much of a bitch in 3 as she's ever been. But it's over, beat all three games on all three difficulties, 100% items, all scans and unlocked everything in the gallery (thanks to Arem for those green tokens from a while back). Gonna trudge through Skyward Sword's Hero Mode now. |

I've been playing a lot of SSBB online mainly for taunt parties. I found an awesome bunch the other day I had tons of fun with, but you know how anal the online service can get. Kind of a shame that there's less and less chance of finding taunt parties now. Also been collecting trophies. Got all the bosses except for Meta Ridley, which I'm too scared to even attempt yet. I got Playstation Allstars Battle Royale. Played it a little bit, and it just makes me eager for DmC even more. Resident Evil 6. I'm playing through the campaigns with my cousin, we've gone through Leon's and Chris' stories, and I'm hating having to wait on him for the next two. I don't like Jake and Ada that much, but I want Agent Hunt mode so bad. The co-op glitch that only signs one player as having completed the campaigns is quite annoying though. |

DOVAHKIIN DOVAHKIIN NOT A SINGLE SARDINE Been playing a lot of Skyrim lately. Playing a mage/archer who does a lot of fucking smithing. Specialises in fire spells, but also is heavy on the Alteration as a side effect of finding Transmute and farming the fuck out of it. <33 Also still playing League, and: I was playing her improperly, I have to admit, and I got a better hang of her later on in the free week. She has a lot of potential but needs to snowball. And, well, I generally dislike melee characters, so I'm usually very biased against them. I heard her described as a combo of Fiora and Akali, both of which are horrifying if fed but relatively easy to kill if kept weak. And I believe I was actually playing her bottom lane at the time I was complaining lmao. Once I got solo top lanes I wiped the floor with them. And I can get this in pretty often considering Eric is a jungler. But more often than not I am mid or bot. Edited by Hedj, Jan 2 2013, 08:43 PM.

I bought Far Cry 3 for $40ish on Amazon, because I was supposed to get it for Christmas.. but because of my folk's new-found view on violent video games I had to just get it myself. It's fun, but it has its downsides: Black blurry outlines on characters? Everything in the distance is too foggy and washed out/white and blurry No character development of his friends, all we know so far is that they're wild teens and one wanted to go to hollywood. "Hold Square to interact"... why not just PUSH to interact? Long loading after death Can die while flipping over in car (I'm just spoiled by Just Cause 2's unrealistic-ness I guess) Hard to see shit while driving Jump a few feet to the ground and you’re badly hurt Upsides Flamethrower, this actually burns a lot of grass and trees too. The graphics The animals ect. Makes me wish I had as much freedom as Just Cause 2 gave me. What I would do to get a grapple/whip thing with a parachute and roam around on planes in this game... Yeah dude, you should really play something to "cleanse your palate", so to speak. Play a bunch of standard platformers or something so that you're not used to a certain game before you try something else. I ended up trying to use the grappling hook from JC2 so many times in Saints Row the Third it's not even funny. |

Well, I've basically finished Terraria. I haven't really gotten everything there is to get yet, but honestly, I've already got a full set of Hallowed armour and a fucking Megashark. Anything left to do essentially amounts to a lot of grinding and world resetting, which is exactly the kind of thing I hate most about this game. In other news I've been playing ZombiU in between bursts of Arkham City: Armoured. Shit's fuckin' awesome, yo. Stressful as fuck, but still awesome. Can't wait to finish it so I have an excuse to try survival mode. |

Apparently the console versions are really fucking inferior compared to the PC version (even moreso than usual). At least with the graphical presentation, anyways. |

Two gaems! 1. Kingdom Hearts II(PS2/PC): It's taken me ages to finally get around to this monster, but since I 100%'d KH1, I figured I should move on to 2. I'd say I'm about 80% done with it, I've got all the ultimate weapons, and taken down Sephiroth. What I've got left to do is take down the remaining Underworld Coliseum Cups, the Hades Cup and then the Paradox Cups, as well as finish synthesizing everything and make sure I've gotten all the Keychains as well as complete Jiminy's Journal. THAT's not gonna be fun. 2. Smite (PC): MOBA/DOTA type game with a third person over the shoulder camera style. Also the roster consists of gods and the like from various real world mythologies. I tend to favor Sun Wukong, the Monkey King and Freya, Queen of the Valkyries. |

So I got near to the end of ZombiU before abruptly fright-quitting under Buckingham. Might be a few days before I can pick it up again. Spoiler: click to toggle In the meantime I'm playing "The Nameless Mod" for Deus Ex. Being a fanmade thing I always imagined it'd have a problem having not much dialogue... turns out it's just the opposite. Everyone never shuts the fuck up. I swear I spent literally a fucking hour at a time exploring safe areas and listening to expositional dialouge before I get to anything even remotely resembling a combat area. I'm persisting mostly in hopes that the mod picks up further in, as there's a lot of brand new items and weapons that I've yet to try. The new EMP pistol's proved to be stunningly useful against those fucking spiderbots so far. I'll probably be warming up for Anarchy Reigns too, mostly because I want to get into it before the online community dies down, something that really shits me when it comes to online-centric games. |
