There's also the whole "sparkly file" deal, but I started a second file for that precise reason. And then, chances are I'll be tempted to nuke the first file so that sparkles, too D:

Oh sure, the new characters and the Assist System are a neat addition, but ffs Square, nerfing the bloody EX Cores and making the Chases even fucking harder to keep up with is not how you improve a sequel/prequel. The point is to make the AI fair, not allow their fucking obvious cheating bullshit gain an even greater advantage than they already had in the past.

Good god, the Grandmaster Galaxy was HORRIFYING, especially the comet run where you had to do the whole thing in one go on a Daredevil Run. And now, back to Kirby, freakin'platinum medals on those challenges. grumbles

That being Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. And lots of other games. I also replayed the Legend of Spyro games, because I couldn't recall why I pulled a rage quit on The Eternal Night so many years ago. Now I remember why. And I managed to find new reasons to hate Eternal Night. A New Beginning was amazingly great for a Spyro game. Sure, a vast change from the traditional Spyro games of hold, but it held up well on it's own. Then Krome manages to fuck the whole damn thing up in the sequel. I still want to see the end of the story, so I'll press on through it, but there will be a lot of rage on the way D:< Also, Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure. Starts off great, but by around Chapter 5 or 6, all of the Rhythm games become incredibly bullshit and the inconsistencies between the vocal and written scripts really start to show. Spoiler: click to toggle And the evil reveal plot twist turns out to be so incredibly fucking obvious that it makes me sick. You can do better than that, SEGA.
