Wasn't Viva Pinata handled by Rare?

Yea, but Party Animals is a spin-off game developed by the now bankrupt and Australian-based Krome Studios, based on the TV show that didn't go so well compared to the original two Rare-developed games. Possibly due to the voice acting, courtesy of 4Kids Entertainment.

Mass Effect (360)
Mass Effect 3 (360)

Taking a small breather from Mass Effect 3 single-player after going at it nearly non-stop for the last week. It was so worth it, but I have some unfinished business in Mass Effect 1 now. Need to set things up for some repeated runthroughs for the last game.

I like it when people use the word "gay" in any context other than a homosexual one - it only proves that they have the maturity of a five year old, as if their obsession with shooters didn't already do a good job of pointing that out. It's also pretty amusing that he pointed out Skyrim considering the fact that, y'know, it's set in the bloody medival era and doesn't even have muskets, let alone generic modern firearms.

But just for fun, let's play around with his logic a bit.

game - gun = gay
game + gun = -gay
game + gun + Arem = ???

Rented Twisted Metal.... Oh but wait, what's this? An online pass is required to play online?
F.U.C.K.Y.O.U.

I'm getting sick of this SHIT. Why can't I just play the games I rent, am I asking for too much?
$10? Fuck you.

Yep, Sony jumped on the Online Pass bandwagon starting with Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, I believe. That said, Twisted Metal is rather lackluster compared to earlier games in the series, methinks.

Wait...two Rare developed games and a spinoff based off of a TV show? Have I been living under a rock all this time, or is this all new stuff? D:

On Twisted Metal, yeah sure, it's a great game...if you only want to pick from like two characters for the story. Oh but noooo, it's okay, you can use the other characters' cars...just...not them. It's a multiplayer based game, through and through, it wasn't created to have any relevance to anyone who'd like to sit at home and enjoy a good, quality game by their selves. This disease has spread from FPSes to fighting games to Twisted Metal now.

On that note, the only reason anyone should even bother getting the new Twisted Metal is because it includes Twisted Metal Black from the PS2 on the disc. Seriously, a PS2 port is the only thing legitimising the purchase of a PS3 game, it's pretty sad.

Pretty much. That said, it's not actually on the disc. You get a download code to download it from the Store, I'm pretty sure. Not fully certain on that bit.

Also, yea, Rare developed Viva Pinata and Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise...and I think they were the developers of the DS game, too. The TV show was produced by some studio, with 4Kids providing the voices, considering Dan Green voices Hudson Horstachio, I think. Party Animals was bsaed on the show, as I mentioned. This is all years past, though, so I guess you've been under a rock D:

If that's the case, then I'm certain it'll be made available on PSN as some "HD Classic" eventually, thereby negating the need to even bother with the new game.

The new Twisted Metal is pretty amazing actually, the single player is unique... but I got it for the multiplayer. I didn't know it had TM Black on it too...

Considering that the Store is now offering "PS2 Classics" to download, it'll most likely go there when it's made public or whatever. Of course, the offerings are solely dependant on region, but even Sonic Heroes and SSX On Tour is on there :3

Mario Party 9 (Wii)
Harvest Moon DS - Island of Happiness

Rented both out earlier today, to try them out. I am planning to get MP9 later on when I can (preferably alongside Last Story) but as of current, I think I like the ninth iteration more than the eighth one. The gameplay style in MP9 is actually extremely different from the previous titles, so I think that's a good thing, overall.

As for Harvest Moon, still unsure on whether or not I'll like it enough to purchase it properly.

You should totally get Rune Factory, which was created as a sort of Harvest Moon spinoff, but with way more RPG elements and actual fighting monsters and shit. I think elements of the farming are there, but it's geared more towards JRPG fans.

Fruit Ninja Kinect (XBLA)

Despite the usual Kinect issues because this room is not compatible with Kinect at all, I'm having a blast. Fruit Ninja is pretty much my favourite small game. The fact that I first had it on my iPod, then my Android and now my 360 is pretty much testament to that.

It also looks damn pretty on the 360. Shiny Disco Blade is shiny.

Marvel vs Capcom 3.... and I hate it already.

Edit: I played it online... I've lost 25 matches and won 0. I'm usually pretty good at fighting games, but this is the cheapest piece of shit I've ever played... UGH.

What the fuck? DMC HD came out five days early! I went in today to pre-order it for the lulz so I can say I have the collection of the all the worthwhile ones, and it was already on the shelf! D:

EDIT: I should note that I've been playing ME3 multiplayer with Aku. :3
