The Winds of Change Posts: 1,254 Group: Elite Member #11 Joined: March 7, 2007	I got the Strikers, I got the Conduit, I got the Brawl, I even got the Monster Hunter Tri. I think I can manage if we did Wii crap, though I'd need to get back into practice for MH3 I would think. Neo Bomberman or one of the PC-Engine Bombermans over MAMEHub, or one of those numerous 3 or 4 player arcade beat-them-to-deaths would be nice as well. And for those of us that like 2 players, there's three SoR games and three Final Fight titles (in addition to the two Saturday Night Slam Masters games)

Anyway, since the GBA titles came for the 3DS: Mario Kart: Super Circuit (3DS) I LOVE THIS MARIO KART GAME!! This one in my opinion is the best one yet. Granted I haven't played 7 yet, but if has Mario Kart DS's rubber band AI, I'm not interested. Edited by Arem, Dec 17 2011, 08:42 AM.

Snagged Raikou and now I need to catch Entei. I do wanna push on in the game but I want to get that particular Pokemon out of the way because I know Lugia is coming up after the eighth gym. >_>

The plot is good (though I'm not that far into the game yet I don't think), the graphics are also good and the combat is sexcellent. So far, my only gripes are the lack of significance of the magic system (seriously, I get through 90% of all battles, including boss battles, with just items, normal attacks and Excel Acts) and the voice acting.

Raining on your parade with a truckload of awkward awesomeness. Posts: 4,950 Group: Elite Member #70 Joined: November 11, 2009	Mario Kart 7 & Super Mario 3D Land (3DS) Compared to previous games in each respective series (Wii/Double Dash for Mario Kart and 64/Galazy 1 for Super Mario) both of these games feel kinda lackluster in their appeal. While I really like the hang glider feature in 7, the karts seem to drift a bit too wide for my taste (could possibly be fixed with a set up with better handling, so who knows) but the rest of the game is quite fun, though I still prefer Wii over this one, rubberband AI and all. I kick the AI's asses in Wii anyway, regardless. So far I've only been doing 50cc (my god, 50cc is so fucking slow I hate it) and I've had a few instances of being smacked with a blue shell, then lightning and then a red shell, in quick succession. Kind of expected what with the "perpetual comeback system" and shit, but unfortunately for the AI, I'm usually leagues ahead of them, so balls to the lot of you >:3 As for 3D Land, I vastly prefer the hub worlds that we had in SM64/Sunshine/Galaxy 1 over the recent return to the course/world format. Also, even with making Mario dash everywhere, it still feels slow as hell compared to NSMBWii. I like how you can switch between Fire and Tanooki Mario virtually on the fly, since picking up a Maple Leaf (Nintendo Australia calls it a "Super Leaf," is that wrong or right?) while as Fire Mario will switch you to Tanooki and put the Fire Flower in your item circle and vice versa. Very cool and epic :3 Needs more power ups, though.
