I like it when people use the word "gay" in any context other than a homosexual one - it only proves that they have the maturity of a five year old, as if their obsession with shooters didn't already do a good job of pointing that out. It's also pretty amusing that he pointed out Skyrim considering the fact that, y'know, it's set in the bloody medival era and doesn't even have muskets, let alone generic modern firearms.

But just for fun, let's play around with his logic a bit.

game - gun = gay
game + gun = -gay
game + gun + Arem = ???

Lately, a combination of TF2, the Wakfu closed beta, and a smattering of Prototype/Minecraft/Metal Gear Solid.
A desolate place, without any trace
It's only the cold wind I feel
It's me that I spite, as I stand up and fight
The only thing I know for real
There will be bloodshed!

You're a strange man :P

DDFF: PSP - Because it's still awesome. A lot of people complain about gameplay but how about you just up the difficulty? >>
Bulletstorm: PC (Mac. Bootcamp. Works better than I thought it would. Which is to say, it runs.)
TES Oblivion: "PC" - I'm literally about to start it, anyway. 'Tis long overdue.

Good Game

Hex: Yes, you've read the book, you've seen the film - now avoid the game like the plague lest your memory of Harry Potter's epic conclusion be tainted by what can only be described as a short, half-arsed cover-shooter that's boring beyond belief.

Bajo: ...It's shit.

Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi: Not for long, this plays like shit. Can't return this to Gamestop because they're dildos about returns. Going on Craigslist for $10 off original price.

Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team: Now this is neat, it's like the free roaming ones... but with 4 people! Why haven't they done this for consoles yet??

Dissidia 2: Eh... basically the exact same thing as the first, nothing's improved... not many new stages and a few new characters. I was hoping for more ways to attack or something.

Batman Arkham City: Checking for random extras... still waiting on that damn code so I can return it for something else.

Crystal Warriors (game gear): Nostolgia

Whilst the camera is still a bitch*, the new levels are neat and the new characters are shitloads better. Lightning is a BEAST. The assist guage, as well as EX Revenge really amp up the intensity in some of those more challenging battles. Also, KP is so much easier to get, which made the story mode far less intolerable for me, seeing as I could actually feel rewarded playing through it.

Oh god. I still hate even mentioning the story mode though. Ugh. The 012 scenario is somehow even more mundane, despite having better characters and character dynamics and all that. Gorram it. Since when does anything associated with Nomura have a shit storyline? Sure, the voice acting is ALWAYS off but I can't seem to get interested in the slightest as to what's happening in this world, unlike the many an main FF title and, most notably, the rather deviously complex KH series. Oh and certainly not forgetting TWEWY.

...Anyway, I'll stop now :P

Dissidia's a great fighter, though I thought it needed more depth in gameplay.
It feels mostly like "attack-evade-attack-evade" If they added a little more to it, I'd be in love with it. I was hoping they did that with the sequel, but it didn't really change.
But I haven't played enough of it yet, there's probably more in it than I think.

* Oh, I forgot this. They haven't fixed the camera but now theres a level entirely within a single train carriage? Why!? That's the only level that completely stumps me >>. True, it can be kind of formulaic, especially when you're behind against some character who's got some absurd multiplier... but perfectly timed blocks are much more satisfying in this one too, which took me long enough to figure out but I've been trying to abuse ever since. Though I walk into a defense break all to often.

No, really, I'll stop this time :P

Well, since you haven't replied, I suppose I can just cut to the chase; Wii Play is a simple pleasure. It's comprised of a group of very basic and fun games that offer up just the right amount of challenge for them to be enjoyable, both alone and with others, yet not hard enough for you to tear your hair out and yell at the TV. It's got a very oldschool, arcadey vibe, where your only concern is either beating the other guy, or getting a high score, which makes it a fun game for someone who just wants to chillax and enjoy.

I think all the games under the Wii series pretty much are in line with that, which is why I enjoy them so much. People can laud them as nothing more than high end shovelware, but the truth is, it's a more quality experience with effort put into it. I don't think a game should be condemned for being a minigame collection, not if it's done right, plus they sure as hell are a lot more fun than the majority of the crap that's out there today.

Platinumed everything on Wii Play except for Tanks, which I fail so epically at that I can't even beat the initial 20 stages to get a gold so that I can actually continue on for platinum. Took a break and moved onto Link's Crossbow Training, which is surprisingly easy (I don't know why I didn't bother doing this before, I guess I got too swept up with Umbrella Chronicles). I'm about two levels away from total rapage, then I'll move onto *groan* Wii Sports. My arms are going to be feeling the burn a lot during the next couple of weeks.

Try FF7.

Considering that Nomura is a character designer, I don't think he really has much to do with any storyline that's not Kingdom Hearts, FF7, or FF13-versus
