Modern Sonic is indeed the switching 2D/3D gameplay of Unleashed and Colors, Classic Sonic is 2.5D, and more faithful to the old levels, however with more juice. Here's a list of levels I want to see: Classic games: Star Light Chemical Plant Mushroom Hill Ice Cap Lava Reef Adventure style: Speed Highway Green Forest (however, this may be too similar to Green Hill or Mushroom Hill) Crisis City EDIT: The same footage shown in the interview, but extended and without interview voice-overs. Might hear more about it at at E3, which is only a month and a half away. I know you guys don't care about the other board, but I can never figure out when I should lol or head-desk when Stormwatch speaks about gaming. He saw the gameplay video I posted, and instantly said it was going to suck.

Speaking of which, WHY isn't this getting a Wii release? We've seen through Colours that the console can handle a game with that kind of graphical power so wtf Sega.

BL;DR Posts: 3,493 Group: Elite Member #80 Joined: September 7, 2010	Last I recall, Sonic Colours had a lot of empty space and smoke & mirrors going on that Unleashed didn't have - I mean seriously, try to compare anything in Colours to, say, the VAST cityscape in Spagonia and tell me that's even a remotely fair comparison. That Unleashed could allow you to see for miles even towards areas that aren't even relevant to the immediate gameplay is quite a feat. Not to mention it has the Hedgehog Engine on its side, which no Wii game can really benefit from and based off what I'm seeing here, is still in use as far as Generations is concerned. Honestly, I like the Wii and all but trying to back-port from HD consoles with near-to-no quality loss is a pretty unreasonable thing to expect - and if Unleashed Wii (and Colours DS to a lesser extent) is any indication, not ST's strong suit, either.
