At any rate, Nintendo has a stronger core audience for Sonic anyway. If it's a good game, it'll sell well and Sonic games will HOPEFULLY get even better.

That a Sonic game has gotten this far into development and not had a single genuine leak until just days prior to the reveal is pretty astonishing for them. Incidentally it appears Lost World is only one of THREE WiiU exclusives coming up in the Sonic franchise.

I think most people are skipping out on the Wii U right now in anticipation for the next 2 systems... at least I know I don't want to have to purchase 2 systems this year... Hell, I even said for months that Sonic was going to end up becoming Nintendo-exclusive sometime. Did I not say that?! SEGA is in financial red, and not just because of the Gearbox fiasco. Placing one of there biggest assets on one platform only could in fact help them back into the game and we'll go back to multiplatform ideally. Besides, would you rather have SEGA go bankrupt and Sonic end up in the hands of someone else? Like EA? READ: I've been explaining this to Sonic fans on and offline for days.

That's Lost World, Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and some other as of yet unannounced title. After that, it's back to multiplatform, assuming Nintendo and SEGA don't extend the partnership.
