Sonic '06 was diverse, but you'd be hard pressed to chalk that up as a point in its favour. It's the kind of diversity that's seemingly there in complete disregard for what the games are trying to accomplish, and as much as I don't want to shit on people who have a soft spot for his characterisation there's literally no way you could have used Big without being a complete contradiction of either himself or the core gameplay of nearly any given game. That, if nothing else, is why we don't see him anymore - because he doesn't fit in. He's never fucking fitted in. That being said, it is kinda unfortunate that we won't be seeing those silly hidden cameos anymore, either. EDIT: Can't believe I missed this. And it's not just anime voice actors either. Roger Craig Smith does a fair amount of American animation voice acting as well, including Captain America (Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble), Ezio Auditore, Chris Redfield, and others.

I like Travis Willingham lots, but his performance as Knuckles, while better than the 4Kids actor, isn't his best performance.
