 Not a very dramatic pose, his hand looks limp... usually it's posing in a cool way. And his quills are way too straight. I think they did the shadows of the bots on the ground with different transparencies or something.... ugh. Well, the music sounds pretty good at least.

 So that movie was supposed to come out yesterday, but there were technical issues on the rendering. Funny because there were technical issues when it was presented a few days before that in the middle and they couldn't finish airing it. Poor preparation, maybe they should have it at 100% before announcing any release dates.

 Well yeah they said at 6:00 today it would be out.
Welp, gunna go watch it.

Edit:
It was kinda goofy... not exactly a "movie" either.

0. His hands are small.
1. Voice direction is a little awkward at times. Especially Sonic's first conversation and his laugh. Would have been better if it weren't Jaelle White
2. Just about all of Sonic's lines are catch phrases that make you want to face-desk.
3. The acting when that guy is getting tortured is really...really fake.
4. Terrible jump cut when he jumps on the missile.
5. The animation was horrendous at some parts, not even going to mention all the spots that looked obviously fake. Some parts Sonic's voice isn't properly synched.
6. The model was uncanny valley on the cartoon to real life standards, mostly because of his mouth at certain angles, and the eyes being "overly" green.
7. He runs pretty damn slow.
8. Sonic's teeth are a silver sheet of metal.
9. Obvious green screen on President is obvious, dude's so much darker than the backdrop.
10. Robotnik's screen time should have dirtier/grittier colors, too many saturated colors to take seriously. Not to mention he needs to be fatter... and have a more distinguished costume. He's got the game's outfit on. If it were Satam's, he'd look more bad ass.
11. The ships look like cardboard materials painted.
12. Camera focuses way too long on a specific part of Green Hill.
13. Why is there even a Green Hill like that here? Not every Sonic element from the games should be used... it should focus on Satam aesthetic it chose to start with.
14. Can't hear what the hell Knuckles is saying.
15. I have no idea how this could have taken 2.5 years.

 I think it's rough around the edges and all over as well. No offense to Mr. Lebron, but this is nowhere near the level of work and effort he put into his Megaman film, which was relatively okay, but pretty great for a fanfilm. For as short as this is, it's not even good enough to be a stinger for a full on film. I'm incredibly disappointed by it all. Perhaps the only good thing that came out of it were the cameos by Brentalfloss, AVGN and Nostalgia Critic. Oh and hearing Jaleel White as Sonic was nice too I guess.

 Yeah basically... it's usually done in trailers trying to be innovative a few years ago... it's a little weird to add in an actual movie...even if this isn't a movie.

 Ken Pontac's writing for an upcoming Sonic game. This isn't really surprising considering the same guy's been working on main series games since Colours, but hell, I just find it nice to hear Sega hasn't given up yet despite their recent hardships (even if it's mostly their own fault anyway).

Didn't know he wrote HTF, though. That leaves some pretty wierd mental images. Now we just wait for an official announcement, I guess. Wouldn't mind hearing about it sometime before E3.
