BL;DR Posts: 3,493 Group: Elite Member #80 Joined: September 7, 2010	The general consensus I get from most Sonic boards is that '06 PS3 is actually even worse than the 360 version, for reasons I can't immediately remember - probably technical and framerate issues, if that specific era of 360-PS3 ports is any indicator. The odd thing is that '06 is actually the only Sonic game I ever replay anymore. I dunno, it's a special kind of horrible to me that I just can't help but find memorable in its own way. Like two trains colliding headfirst and sandwiching a bus in between them. EDIT: Oh, and ASRT's apparently been leaked. You'll have to find the details yourself though - I only found out because SSMB is enforcing an embargo on it right now. Edited by Blacklightning, Nov 9 2012, 02:38 PM.

Posts: 4,950 Group: Elite Member #70 Joined: November 11, 2009	The kicker is that the PS3 version actually had a longer development cycle than the 360 version, yet still managed to end up with more problems. I still like '06, though, even though I get really angry at it. I get angry at every Sonic game in existence, so I generally use that as a judge of whether it's a proper Sonic game or not. Yes, I know that's insane logic, but it works for me. As for ASRT getting leaked, given that it's only about eight(?) days off of the US launch, I'm not surprised. Also bought a PS3 usb controller for $5-ish, works like a dream for emulation. Sucks that it got leaked already. And I kept my Sonic '06 copy for 4 years, and I eventually got rid of it after I completed my fanficfion adapt of the story. If I recall correctly, it went towards a pre-order for Halo: Reach. I plan to go down to EB the next weekend I get monies and just pay off the whole launch bundle. The I can just walk in, pick up, walk out on the 30th. And also not have to freak out about the possiblity of not having the money for it on the day. Aside from that, I'm also debating whether I'll get it on 360, too. Not that there's really any need to, but still.
