It did have smoother-looking graphics, yes. Chao-raising was also streamlined: you could see your Chao's stats by picking them up instead of relying on a VMU to tell you what's what. Also, Chao Karate. |

Sonic Adventure 2 and NiGHTS into Dreams will be available on PSN October 2 at 9.99 USD each, then on Xbox LIVE October 5th for 800 MP. Included will be a free Holiday promotion for NiGHTs that was available on the Saturn. Battle will be available to download on the respective days for an additional 3 USD or 240 MP. Looks like I'm getting a point card next paycheck. EDIT: Achievement List for SA2. Pretty rudimentary, if not vague. Includes the obligatory get all A ranks as well. You don't have to get all the emblems though; evident-ally, NO Chao Race or Battle Achievements AT ALL. Seems quite doable, although the big Achievement should prove a headache. The Christmas version of Nights is included too? I've had two copies but gave one to someone on soah, it's pretty good. It also let you play Sonic in a Nights level. Awesome move on their part to include it. At this point I could almost sell my Saturn if they bring over and remaster other great saturn games.

So Sonic and Nights came out today. Reliving SA2 is like experiencing a bad 70's superhero action movie. Characters talking over another's lines, mouths not moving, Hero side making zero sense without knowing the dark side's, and missing the grinding rails seems to happen more than I remember. I'm thinking 06 might not have been that bad after all. |

In SA2, you always had to steer for the rails. Perhaps just out of practice? I'll have to download it and see. Plus, Hero Side not making sense without the Dark Side? Duh, it's always been like that. |

Being someone who went through the Dark side first when I got the game on the DC way back when, the same can be said either way. The grinding has to do with speed and just "aiming" the analog stick the right way when the game keeps going forward. Never found it to be an issue but I will say that if you don't have enough speed or you turn Sonic/Shadow (or Amy/Metal Sonic in 2P mode) too much to the side it can be a problem (something that's not a game breaker in the slightest though thankfully). |

I got stuck in the wall in SA2 last night, it's almost as buggy as 06 if you really look at it again. It's been so long since I've played that there were some stages I didn't even recognize o_o |

No, Sonic '06 was unforgivable. SA1 and SA2 were playable. And it sounds like you're just WAY out of practice, especially if you don't recognize the stages. To be honest, many of those stages are hard to forget. [sucks thumb on Eternal Engine.] |

Yea there are some crazy glitches in this game (some of which I didn't experience in the DC or GC versions!). If you play 2P, Meteor Herd's force field for the middle is practically not there (you'll go right through like nothings wrong) and there's a chance of falling through the map (or even going through some of the towers at ground level). I've gotten stuck in the wall recently too. Sadly no port is perfect, hopefully they'll update this overtime though. And SA2 being compared (even unintentionally) to '06 isn't a good thing to do, your list will be lop-sided too much XD. |

...Speaking of which, I still have both SA: Director's Cut and SA2: Battle, as well as a Wii to play them on. Personally, I kind of wish the Chao Garden would make a return in some form. Raising them was quite a lot of fun. |
