 It's news because it's confirmation by someone that had to work on it. We didn't know it would be mostly because they added multi-player too. I don't think I would buy it at full price at least. Will wait until Black Friday if at all.

I was just coming back here to post that actually. His observations, while educated, are still mostly speculation - we knew for a fact the game used CryEngine since it was announced, and again, there was proof of it before the game was even publicly announced, but BRB's actual motivation for using the engine is still up in the air, as is the exact complications that led to them dumbing the game down.

 But also now we know the dumbing down of the graphics is also due to the multi-player too. It must have been looking just fine until then. Kind of a Ubisoft thing to do though.
