I just didn't like how Sonic started to change as soon as he started on Nintendo games... honestly the only Wii game that's sort of good is Sonic Colors. If he became exclusive to Nintendo, we can kiss the idea of seeing him on the PS4/Xbone where the possibilities are less limited graphically, and to use it with a proper controller. For the most part, Nintendo likes to keep their characters as kid friendly and consistent as possible... I rather Sonic not be constrained to what he is now... but at the same time not turn into Something weird like Sonic Boom.

This is where you should go back to your inner 90's Sega fan and ask him what he found appealing about Sonic. He won't tell you that it was mature and needs to become something else, but rather, that it was an enjoyable experience and he wouldn't mind seeing more of the same. There is no need to reinvent Sonic, past attempts should show you how successful that's been. Sonic's appeal has been with the way he is as a property and what can be done with it. The experience can still remain fresh and innventive while maintaining what it's always been at its core. That being said, Sonic Boom seems like a decent subfranchise and, honestly, I think it's a great way to introduce the franchise to a new generation. It's about as "mature" and developed as you can possibly get from Sonic, so you should probably be the one person who'd be the most interested in it.

That would mean: no more Yakuza, no more Phantasy Star, no more Project Diva, no more Valkyria...maybe they'll appear as characters in All-Stars Racing games, but HOW CAN I BE EXPECTED TO LIVE IN A WORLD WITHOUT PSO? As it stands, Sega is already a one trick pony, at least, in the West and its more popular properties in Japan are barely acknolwedged across the pond at any rate. Honestly, I don't see much difference IF that was the case. Otherwise, they could potentially benefit more from Nintendo in better advertising those IPs and making them more marketable in the West. Seriously, imagine a PSO published by Nintendo, fucking imagine. Hell, it'd probably help Nintendo get its shit together with regards to taking a more active interest in online gaming. TWO FOR ONE WIN-WIN SITUATION RIGHT THERE.

ONE GAME?). I'd like to note that Pulseman was a Genesis/Mega Drive exclusive game. Looking at their Wikipedia page, a good majority of their non-Pokemon games were Japan-only (they made a game for the Playstation in 1999 as well). The only other ones that were released in the west were Yoshi and Drill Dozer.
