As much of a SEGA/Sonic fan I am, I'd rather SEGA not become fully Nintendo exclusive. Make more Nintendo themed DLC for Sonic Lost World, by all means.

Posts: 17,366 Group: All Powerful Deity Member #1 Joined: December 30, 2005	When was the last time Sega actually produced its own new first party content that was relevant and sold well (especially in the West), without having Sonic's name plastered on the cover (even he spends more time getting by through ports, remakes and compilations)? Hell, within the last 10 years/2 console generations? I dunno, maybe Monkey Ball? Yakuza probably does...okay? Now tell me what consoles ~~Sega~~ Sonic games sell better on, because clearly Sega themselves have stated he does better on Nintendo platforms and that's where the audience is. Your inner Sega fan might be talking, but he's probably talking with a mindset and references from the 90's, where this entire concept would be alien to him and would make no sense. Nintendo has resources and capital, and they've proven to fully support their second party developers and give them a lot of room to cut loose and make great games. The only downside to all this is, as Luffy said, there'd be no Sonic on other platforms but, as referenced above, Nintendo is clearly the ideal platform for him and the better market (seriously, do you really think Sega would make a Sonic game that was so graphically bleeding edge that it'd only work on the console equivalent of a gaming PC?). Also, as a large majority of people, especially on this board, have shown, most homes house at least two, if not three of the competing consoles, so it shouldn't be an issue for most people since they're more likely to own a Nintendo console anyway. Those less fortunate are more likely to own a Nintendo console because it is the least expensive of the three to own and maintain. At the end of the day, I think everyone would win if Nintendo bought out Sega. There's clearly a great partnership between both companies that's been blossoming as of late and they seem to enjoy working together a lot. Just my opinion anyway, far be it from me to be the authority on videogame industry politics or anything. :P
