She got into trouble a lot, couldn't defend herself, yet at the end she uses some unexplained energy blast to distract the Eggmen long enough for Sonic and Blaze to finish the job. So much potential right down the drain there. However, if this is Marine and we see her back, hopefully her characterization won't amount to something around 'author pet' level.

Master Posts: 622 Group: Elite Member #62 Joined: November 9, 2009	So finally getting caught up on the Sonic Archie comics since I've not read a one I've gotten in from my subscription since I started grad school, then washed out, then started working. The series got rebooted since summer and now all characters have been changed to look more in line with the official post Dreamcast art style. I'm not sure what to think of any of this. :/

They were great guardrails for us to understand when we were deviating too far from the character. When I heard it wasn't going to be geared towards kids.. I couldn't tell you how happy I felt, then a millisecond later I thought it was probably too good to be true.
