 Scarves are not hipster, you git. Heroes wear scarves; it's a trope that goes way back.

Besides, it makes since for him to wear a muffler, since wind bite on the neck can be a pain. Pilots wore them for good reason. (Tails lacks one yeah, but from a redesign standpoint it makes sense to only have one character feature it, and Sonic otherwise is the hardest to accessorize for.)

 The faces look off because how they modeled the mouths and the lack of protruding eyebrow.

Knuckles lacks of "proper design?" Nah bro, he's the one with the most redesign of them all. You don't have to like it, but you're being rather sour.

Also, the dev team is made up of mostly ex-naughty dog devs. Take that as you will.

 What I meant was it is unneeded, or at least taken too much to the extreme. If they made him slightly more buff, I can see that. But whatever, it's still not as bad as I expected.
