That third game might be the rumored Sonic/Mario Kart crossover, which I'm thinking they're putting on the backburner until Sonic and Mario Do Russia is done. |

^ Oh man this made me laugh a lot more than it should have. So lets review class: 1) Sonic Lost World is the first of these 3 games in Sega partnership 2) The Winter Olympics game is the 2nd and is indeed done 3) 3rd title not announced so far Back onto the new Sonic game though, is the game maybe a timed exclusive and that's some loophole? New Show "Target Market: Boys 6-11"...... All my hopes... it's going to start feeling embarrassing to call myself a fan of Sonic Stuff soon.... and I'm sure the movie will go for the same ages. This is the same market that AOSTH had. Way to alienate half of your audience (older half) as usual.

The fuck were you expecting? Sonic has been a kids market from the start and that's literally never changed - we have. Why do I have to explain this to everyone who has ever been a fan of a kid's franchise? Is taking off the nostaliga goggles every now and then really that hard? That also implies the fans that grew up with the franchise consist of half the fandom to begin with, which is just flat out false. If anything, we're the minority. |

My Little Pony is created for children, yet there is a massive audience of adults (some of the more unsavory among those are even trying to wrest the franchise away from it's target audience, but if I go any further into that, we'll be here all day and I'll end up feeling miserable). Just because something was created for a younger audience does not mean it can't be enjoyed by grown-ass adults. Nonetheless, considering the character designs' shadows we saw a while back, I'm eyeing it with cautious optimism. |

Transformers was also for kids at the start, now we have movies that are rated somewhere in between pg and pg13. Sometimes aiming a little higher helps a lot. Sure it only makes sense for Sega, but it's still going to piss a lot of people off. Satam was never 6-11, and yes I know there's no chance the movie would be based on that version.
