I'm guessing no one here saw it, seeing the lack of topic.

We avoided the midnight launch like the plague, because it was overcrowded. Every cinema in the entire state was packed like freakin' crazy. Kingstown has 16 theaters, and had 10 theaters dedicated to The Dark Knight. 6 of those 10 were sold out by 9 pm, and they'd cancelled all the shows from 10, just to make room for Batman. We decided to go to Tyson's corner and watch Hellboy instead, which was pretty awesome.

Then I actually saw the damn thing, and I have got to say...

WHY SO SERIOUS?

But seriously, the movie was amazing. It had characters, it had references to the first movie, it had multiple villains...which didn't DIE at the end of the godamn movie like the previous incarnations. And like, it kept you on edge. Everytime you felt like the movie was going to end, they'd add more...A WHOLE LOT MORE!

This thing was everything it was hyped up to be, and so much more. Seriously, sitting amidst a smelly, noisy crowd in the theater was totally worth it.

And he was awesome nonetheless. I know Heath Ledger's been immortalized for his performance, but I'm hoping they don't kill off the Joker/not bring him back because of it.

Yeah, his performance was top notch. Best. Joker. Ever! :) I hope that they can find someone who can atleast come close to being as good a Joker as he was.

I absolutely loved the movie. Hands down best movie of the year. I watched it three times in the theater. He did a phenomenal job. I do wish though that they had brought Harley Quinn into it. That would have made it so much better for me. She is hands down my favorite villainess.
