We'll start with the first: Quote: SOURCE: http://metroid2remake.blogspot.com/ Three years in the making, this Game Maker 7 title is shaping up to be a Zero Mission-esque update to the classic yet often ignored Metroid II: Return of Samus for the original spinach-screen Game Boy. Quite a few art assets were ripped from Metroid Fusion (and possible Zero Mission as well), but a lot was created from scratch. Added elements not present in the original game include: Beam stacking Additional upgrades like Power Bomb and Speed Booster A minimap system Expanded areas There is a trailer on the website that uses Stemage's awesome metal arrangement of the Metroid II tunnel theme. Seven years in the making, that's gotta say a lot about it. For fellow former MGBers, I'm refering to you guys. One of the names in the credits was ELPIZO, and we all know and love our Elpizo, because he was one of the pioneering members of MGB. We also know he dabbled in making games, one of which was a Metroid fangame. Very interesting stuff, no?

Though we have no official word yet. The mirrored location in question is checking if the claim was legit. If it wasn't, they'll re-host it. But the source is, as Seeco said, still available.
