Umm, you guys must be missing something, because the human characters are a core part of the Transformers story. Yes, there is robot ass kicking, that's what made it popular with the kids back in the day, but there was a lot of drama and human emotion in the series, most of all in the '86 movie.

So the movie portrayed pretty much exactly what was in the original series, except there was a lot of comedy, and it felt real and less strained. I'll be honest in saying that back in the day, the cartoon got really boring sometimes because there was too much yakking and not enough fighting. But all in all, the movie was a nice package.

Weeeeeell.....you know I tend to be the half-empty cup Psycho, so, I agree with Shakes and Sir Pax-alot (don't blame me for the late reply, I just saw the movie yesterday). The movie was, in my opinion, a big disappointment. They focused too much on those fleshlings and left the awesome robots (they didn't even need to hire voice actors, since the robots' parts were short). The only thing that was good about the movie was when Bonecrusher was decapitated by Optimus' awesome sword.

Nu, it was when Optimus said:

"One shall stand, one shall fall."

Because it was quoted right off of the '86 movie. Retro shizzle for the win. Also, the first movie's plot heavy to make room for the sequel. You guys just need to chillax and wait and see what happens the next time through.

I don't want to chillax, I don't want to wait for a non-Micheal Bay sequel and I'm sick of waiting for Phoenix Wright and Megaman ZX. My only response to you is:

INTA WAJHAK YA ZAHIF!!!
