Well, after much head scratching and pondering, I've decided to jump into the world of RC Tanks. I've had pretty much every other type of RC, and I love my Blizzard, so I figured, hey, why not. Originally I was gonna try to convince myself that I could justify a Full Option Tamiya, and I even tried to sniper a few on E-bay..........but no, I couldn't bring myself to drop the coin on a first venture. So after much reading, I've decided to pick up a Heng Long Tiger 1 with metal tracks. A buddy of mine is getting the special metal edition M26 also, so hopefully spring will see some backyard tank action at my place. Mato Toys seems well respected as a vendor (and hey, they're in Canada too), so they'll be receiving my $$$ at some point this week..........even though, in all honesty, I've been a bit disappointed with their responses to my email questions. Oh well. So anyone have any input or advice on these tanks? Anyone know why the Heng Long section of this site won't allow new posts? Anyone running 6mm paintballs in their rigs instead of the airsoft pellets? |
