I'm thinking I might pick up a 30t & 33t. That would give me 17t, 21t, 24t, 27t, 30t, &33t |

Here is a typical shot of the inside after I have driven my blizzard.![]() FYI: here are some temps after I ran. It was 16 degrees outside. After I drove for 20 minutes or so, battery temp (nimh) was 110 degree range, motor temp 66 degrees, forgot to check temp on esc. But i'm guessing it wasn't any hotter than the motor. |

Holy cow!, that's a lot more snow inside than I had imagined. It makes me think that the Kyosho engineers chose to use the three plastic fore/aft/belly parts with draining in mind. So perhaps the snow helps keep your components much cooler than if they were closed in?. I notice that so far, no one has used fenders as a way of controlling snow from the tracks. Thanks for posting this. |

I ordered these from tower hobbies http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXEX69&P=7 http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXEX65&P=M But pretty much any 48 pitch pinions should work. |

So I decided to try something to keep the inside of my chassis a little dryer. I got some 3/8 x 3/8 weather striping and stuck it on sides of the back 8 inches of the chassis 2 layers deep. They pics are after driving it for 10 or 15 minutes in the powder. Big improvement.![]()

Wow!, that did make a considerable difference. That machine of yours kicks up quite the tall rooster-tails. I have been wondering if that brushless system could be capable of "wheelies" under the right circumstances, I suppose weight distribution might be the factor. |

For snow entry the reason you have so much getting in is because your using those body mount pads. The constant pressure of the snow flying is able to work its way in. If you run the rubber seal around the side plates and attach the body right down then you won't see anything more then some moisture in there... |

Very interesting, it doesn't try to get in much at the rear vent panel. |

Hi Guys, I am a new mamber and just bought a Kyosho Blizzard EV! I have read evey thread on this EV forum and the GP forum. There are tons of great info here! The picrutes you guys put up are great. Very helpfull, I am sure I could not get by with out this great web site. I want to do the upgrades that are recomended here. I have a set of BB's on the way and will fill my diffs with the 100k silicone oil. Want to order a brace from Kyosho and want to do the break upgrade. What material do I get for the breaks? I know there was a fellow selling the material, but it seems his e-mail address is no longer in use? Also, what size bolts do I need as well? Jimbiss has a good upgrade I belive for the motor and ESC for this EV. I want to get the Mamaba Max 4600KV motor and ESC combo and go with the 4200maH batteries and get the 21-33T pinions. I am sure if I went this way I would be going in the right direction. I have the GP on order as well! I am looking foward to being a part of this wondeful forum here. I will keep you posted on my progress. I will be asking lots of questions...so be ready! Looking foward for some great fun with the Blizzard, thanks agian for having a great site. r/c kelley |
