Yes it arrived safe and sound today!!! First thing I noticed was how small the tank is. The Tiger is going to tower over its little brother. I quickly threw a battery into it and tested it out, everything worked fine. All the trims were out so after a bit of fiddling I had it behaving. HL are definitely getting better at this. It rides very nice, as nice if not more then the Walker Bulldog. Gun power is way up. And the included balls looked good enough to use. And as unbelievable as it seems not only does the smoker seem quieter but it bellows smoke! I'll have to pit the P3 up against the Walker to see just how it fairs against it but HL has a winner on their hands!!! More images on my website: http://outcastrc.com/gallery2/v/current/p3/ |

Nice! Does it move more nimbly than the larger tanks? If you have a scale, could you please weigh it? Or just a subjective measurement vs. tiger or another (80% as heavy or whatever) |

I want to cry! I lost a track, one of the pins backed out and bent. Luckily it didn't break the track itself. So I straightened it and went to install it on the track. I ended up finding 10 or maybe even 15 pins working out . I pressed them back in but there just isn't much material for the pins to grip to. I can't see how anything can be done other then ca them from the backside. Another bummer is I have 2 cracks in one of my rear sprockets... The bad one is on top and the other is on the opposite side. ![]() And only after about 5 minutes chasing the kids outside. While I am in a rotten mood (not really) I would just like to thank the person that put mine together and painted it. I think a drunk dog could have done a better job. The paint is terrible and there is glue everywhere. On the panels, 10x too much gluing the parts together.... I am not impressed. The tank itself is wicked, drives as well as it looks. The small tracks have a lot harder time climbing grass slopes. But it floats over the terrain. I am going to seriously consider using my discount for the metal tracks. I think this tanks going to need the rear bogie and the very small track is going to need help if its going to stay together... Still overall I think this is going to be one of my favorite HL's. |

I took it out again to finish the pack. I also let my daughter take out the bulldog to battle with. The P3 is much slower then the bulldog is, and I had to do some fancy driving to evade it. I on the other hand was a much better shot... Landing many shots of the bulldogs armor. At least until I lost a track again! Another pin had backed out enough to bend. Not being able to move she was able to take her time and get a killer shot. I straightened it and again put 5 or 6 pins back into the track that were walking out. Wether they were the same ones as last time I have no idea. I love this tank but the tracks are going to drive me nuts! I am going to put a drop of CA on all the pins and that should stop it. I can still say without a doubt that this is the coolest tank yet! I just love it work its way across the battle field... |

Thanks for the info on the 3. Looks like I will have to get at least one of them too. do you think they are the same scale as the Tiger or are they a bit big? |

Well its much smaller then the walker is. Its a very compact little tank. I believe it should be pretty close to scale. I remember checking out the walker and it was very close to scale. Not close enough for the rivet counters but darn close. I'll have to dig out some dims of the p3 and see how close it is. |
