New blizzard about a 1/2 gallon thru it. Notice pullstarter wasn't retracting all the way. Pulled the engine to investgate. nothing seemed to be wrong. So I thought maybe I might put a little more tension on pullstart to fix the problem, but that didn't work. So here is my fix if you happen to have the same problem. Pull out about 6 inches or so, wrap the cord around something (SO IT CANNOT RETRACT INTO THE HOUSING) pull the cord out of the handle end and cut off about an inch or so of cord, re knot it, work it back into the handle. Now you can undo whatever meens you use to keep the cord from retacting. So be good to go then. It seems that there is just a little to much cord to fit on the spool, so this is a quick and permanat fix. |
