I just started looking at these rc tanks and i think they're the best.....other than a blizzard of course and i was wondering what would be a good beginner tank? Im looking for something to probably fool around outside and inside with and be able to have some climbing power and yet not empty my wallet. Got any suggestions guys??

Are these the type of tanks you guys buy (http://www.airshooter.co.uk/acatalog/R_C_Tanks.html) or do buy the $800-$1500 ones??

If you are looking for good value, something for inside and outside, good climbing and running, that will shoot things, has a sound system and also comes with a radio and battery, also a charger for the battery and pellets for the main gun.
You can't go past a tank from the Heng Long range . They are 1/16 scale and ready to run. Check www.matotoys.com. The Tiger tank on the front page is a Heng Long Tiger.(weathered)

Heng Long all the way. And Matotoys being the place to get them.

I have 4 myself (tiger, walker, pershing, and about to recieve panzer 3)

You just can't beat the price. Yes they still qualify as a toy but Mato sells parts to fix them so you don't have to worry when it breaks. And there are plenty of tricks out there to get the most out of them.
