I got an df-300 with a super rooster, and team orion 6x2 revolution modified engine, stock gearing, works wery well for bashing! But now i have built a blow for it, and want to use something with a lot of torque, but i still dont want to loose the speed.. What about graupners speed 600? i also just bought this kit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...24573&rd=1&rd=1 Does anyone have any information about it? Dosent look like it fits the ev, but ill give it a go. If it aint possible to make it fit, ill put it on the shelf until i find a DX.:) |

Not to be self-serving here, but my dual-motor plate is an option if you have some modding skills. Chris |

I can second the dual motor plate. I was using the stock motor before and it was getting really hot after a run. I hated to gear down and go slower... I also tried a 19turn motor and it was a failure. Just didn't have the torque... So I tried Chris's dual motor plate and it def. solved the torque problem. Now its a matter of being able to gear it up enough. Its a much cheaper option then going brushless. |

the dual plate is a good idea only if u want torq now the thing is try to get two motors that are relativly close in spec's because if you retune it for speed you should take one motor off because if you dont the faster motor will be slowed by the slower one. |
