Wish I could stay up all night and use it, but can't really. I've been looking at the manual and the first thing I have a question on is what the "Smoke" switch does. In the manual, it shows settings A and B. On/off? tiny/lots of smoke? huge/gobs of smoke? I guess I'm not really interested in the smoke, as I've heard it's not to reliable and robs lots of powers. So... if it's not an on/off switch, I guess I'll have to cut the blue wire. It's always the blue wire, right? j/k Oh, and I did get the metal gears for it. |

Looking at the bottom of the tank now, the switch is labeled A/B/C. But I sure don't see in the manual what each one does! |

The ABC lettering is left over from the days when the tanks had different electronics in them, when you could switch frequencies. It is now used to turn the smoke unit on or off. |

Thanks. Yeah the actual switch there is a two position switch. I guess mine is in the off position, because I didn't smell anything. I played around with it finally. It's pretty cool.  The cat was not impressed. Sort of: "Oh jeez. Another noise making thingy. Great." I have not tried the gun yet... I'm stopping by wally world to get some 6mm pellets and avoid the ones it came with. |

The little box of bbs are junk. If you bought a "super" version from Mato, the bottle of bbs are great, they are on par with the Crosman Glo .12g which are the best of all the ones I've tested. |

Hmm.. I thought I had the super version? It does have a pretty good speed controller and sound and such... But it did come with a little box of pellets that are clearly not that great just looking at them. I did get 1000 crossman .12g glow in the dark. I have not tried them at night yet, but they functioned just fine. So out of the box, no complaints except for the turret was missing a couple of detail parts: both smoke launchers (?) I sent Mato Toys an e-mail about this. We'll see what happens. I guess my only other complaint was there sure is a lot of oil leaking out from somewhere. I guess it's probably the smoke fluid from testing or something. Every time I get it all wiped off, more appears later. Not to concerned about that aspect of it's appearance. After all, it's a TANK. It's going to get beat up in the field!  I have not put on the metal upgrade yet. I guess time will tell about durability, but it seems to be a pretty good value. Over time, I'll try to spruce up the paint job. (I did a fairly good job on my static Jagdpanther). |

Ugh. The "missing" parts were in one of the little boxes. I did not see them there. You add them on yourself so they don't get damaged during shipping. Mato Toys has great support, as far as I can tell. Real patient with dumb customers like me.
