well decided to go and drive some RC's sunday and man what a bad day i had!! first was my heng long tank. my son said he wanted to drive it so no prob i grab it off the shelf and charge the battery up. install the battery and turn it on. the start up noise was real wierd and slow then it went into demo mode i think then it spun the turite all the way to it's stops and kept tryin to turn more and before i could turn it off it started smoking. took it apart and it fried some piece on the board. needless to say, it's broke!! then my son says he'll drive his Nylint instead. so i charge it up and replace the 9v in the TX and off we went. well after awhile of driveing my son brings it to me and says it stoped. so i look at it and it steers fine but no go. i check everything and it looks ok then i shook the TX and heard a rattle. opened it up to find the little wire thingy inside that touches the sensors has fallen out. replaced it and everything works but it won't stay in. needs glue. then he was playin with a battery operated truck and he wanted to batterys in it so i did....it didn't work. worked for like 2 sec.s and then nothin. i told him that i quite for the day and would be best not to try anything else. LOL oh well i guess it's either fix the tank or rebuild it with normal RC gear which would be a pain to try and do since it's a shooter tank. forward backward steer turite right left up down shoot slow speed fast speed.........it would suck!! i think i'll look into replaceing the burnt part LOL. maybe heng long has replacement boards?? :banghead: :banghead:

Should have stayed in bed. Best advice on a bad day...

Mato has replacement electronics. You'll prolly end up with some spares tho. At least its cheap.
