This might take a bit of time to write but I'll give it my best... How do I find it? http://www.making-trax.com/gallery2/main.php or click the gallery forum and it will hot link you to the site. There is links on the Making-trax main website as well. How do I register? If you look on the upper right of the gallery page you'll see a register link. Click that and fill out the form. Please use the same name and password as the forum. It will make life easier for everyone. Once you send off the form you'll receive your album. Adding pictures? The easiest way to add pictures is to add items then click the java applet. Let it load and then drag the pictures you want to upload onto the window. Click on the upload button and watch the pictures get transfered to the internet. Once its done then just click onto your album and you should see the picture thumbnails. adding albums You add albums by clicking the add album link on the left side of the menu. Then just fill out a directory name and title and add it. you'll then have a sub album so you can sort your pictures. getting your pictures to show up in the forums What you need to do is locate the picture you want in your album. Click on the thumbnail of the one you want to bring up the larger picture. Once there right click the picture with your mouse. Then click properties. What you need to do is copy the link to the picture. Just hilight the image address then right click and press copy. Now go to your post and click the image icon and a small window will pop up and you right click one the text bar and press paste. once you click ok your picture will show up in your post. Feel free to fool around using the testing forum and your album. You can always delete your test pictures when you have the hang of it. If you run into any trouble feel free to contact a mod or admin and we can try to clear up any confusion. Thanks |

I would like to point out that extremely large pictures (I assume over 1280x1024, but I haven't checked) won't upload correctly. You have to resize them on your computer first, then they will upload. |

Thats a good point, I have noticed that myself. I think it comes down to server usage. Larger the files, the more power it needs to process. And at some point the server says no. Or so I gather... |
