It does seem that we are all, theoreticians & practicing builder alike, of the opinion that a stronger servo is the answer, diff fluid notwithstanding. I am gonna look for a lower-profile servo with fairly high torque that's budget-priced and will post my findings. Hey, what happened to Outcast? can this fit 550 sized motors?

If they're wider, then I doubt it- I have about 1/8" between mine, and while I could run them 'Higher' (since the slots are angled, the higher you run them the farther apart they are) it would depend on pinions. I can't see them being any longer than the kit long-cans. If ya gimme measurements I could tell you, or wait & it'll be there by the weekend. Chris

What do ya think of the servo I found? I wanna get one, but it's bad policy to do anything without the blessing of a Canadian, as we all know! I'm gonna cut another carbon chassis as mine's too thin, so I got a chunk of 1/8" thick Double-Sided Glossy Twill, real mean & beautiful stuff! (Same pattern as the present one) But I'm a' gonna cut me a servo hole to fit the servo prezactly, 'cause me likey clean builds, and I value your input. Plus I'll have someone to blame if it don't work Chris

She thinks there's a chance someone at work, where she mighta lost it, picked it up & mailed it with the outgoing: If by chance you end up with 2, please let me know & I'll pay shipping back (No fair blowing it out on Ebay for big$! ) I apologize for the couple days delay, but she's real cute and likes me so I gotta let her live, as I'm no prize. Chris

Plus I'll have someone to blame if it don't work Chris I think if we can get a standard servo in there we should go for it. As micro servo's arn't the most reliable thing in the world... I just haven't had a chance to find out how much room is up there. Darn work, kids, and wife getting in the way...
