My hope would be a 1/16th M48 Patton II or an M60, but…meh, they'll probably do another obscure variation of the Tiger. |

I knew that was going to happen No Challenger 2.. No Merkava...No Abrams....No...We get another WWII tank
This is why none of my friends own tanks. They dont care for the old machinery. "They make that in a M1A1?" is what I always get from people. I won't be buying this one.

I agree Supreme. I guess it was inevitable, as I said years ago, the Panther would be made, and then the Germans paid for the rights to have Tamiya make the Leopard (or so says the rumor) Now if only we could kick distributors into making more stuff like an M10 and M36 hull and turret... so what if the suspension is wrong, many people would buy it. EXAMPLE is the BYA turret, more like 1/14 scale, yet it sold out. And people whine about the inaccuracies of the Bandai Pz. 4? Gotta love hypocrites, eh? I'm, glad that HL picked the M41 as a subject, and went the extra mile to correct the chassis, even if its still off a tad) as that chassis can be re-0used for M18 Hellcat, M24 Chaffee, and many of the more modern units, like an M113 and Bradley. I hope we can talk them into the US chassis, and then into a HL Sherman with VVSS, which would compliment the Tamiya perfectly. Perfect base for the M10/M36/ and even M7 Priest and other arty. Now, to put the bug in Murphy Ma's ear... |
