I met someone that has one for sale unassembled, but upon asking how much, he replied "how much do you want to pay?" So, what would be a fair price? How much did these things sell for new? |

If it's in really good condition I'd say at least 600-650 USD, maybe low ball it a bit and see what they say. |

Thanks for the fast reply! Unfortunately, that's more than I'd like to spend, but I will try to low ball just in case. Don't worry, I won't do it for profit... I'd build it and use it! |

No probs, you never know if they don't know much about gepards you could get it cheap, they just seem to go for around that mark on ebay. |

T-force: Chris is about right, but personally I'd look at the roadwheel rubber bag before buying. Why? Its one of the items that ages badly, and if they are dry-cracked, you CANNOT replace 'em short of eBay at outrageous prices (unless you get VERY lucky) Hence, if they are fragged, the kit is good only for parts... unless you are good at DIY. A bunch of us are begging Tamiya to re-release some of the out-of-stock parts for the Leo/Gepard chassis so we can keep our beasties going, but as yet, what they have left in stock is all we can buy. WhiteWolf - with 2x 1a4's that have good road-rubber. |

Thanks for the tip on the wheels. I had no idea. Is there anything that can be done to prolong their life? Maybe armorall or such? |
