What does a guy do when he's too tired of building walls? Use all the sawdust and left overs as a battle field of course...![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

OC, that looks very nice. But I have one question. What is the real color on it? Is it dark green or light green? Or is it just the flash that's making it look lighter than it really is. I hope it's the darker color.

I think so. I have the Super versions of the Tiger, Pershing and now the Bulldog. And I am quite happy with them. One day I will prolly own a Tamiya but I am very satisfied with my HL's Great bang for the buck. I was even prepared for all the bad hype on the net and have found nothing much to worry about. But then that may very well be because they are all supers. I am glad to see HL step out of the clone of the Tiger and Pershing. The more choices we as buyers have the better it is for all of us. And I hope they continue to bring out new models to chooose from. I just wish HL would make a Sherman. Then I would have my favorite at a great price. |

Hello fellow HL Tankers! This is my first post here. I have 2 HL Tigers, one non SS and the one I rec'd last Saturday is an SS version. I like them both, and the SS is a step in the right direction. I don't care much for the smoke system - too stinky and too loud, overpowers the engine sound. Anyway, I have been waiting to see what kind of a review the Bulldog would get, although I figured it would be about the same as the other SS tanks. It seems that the track design on the Bulldog allows for climbing more abrupt obstacles. Did you get yours from Mato or Raiden Tech? I'm really tempted now! Looks fantastic! Tanker 447 |

I always buy from Mato. Living in Canada its an easy choice. When you look at the designs betwen the Pershing and the Walker. The shock layouts what makes the walker so easy to conform to terrain. The Pershing shocks are mounted in the other direction and I believe it binds easier. I have no experience with HL other then with the super versions and I am quite impressed. Tho I do remove the smoke units. I can't stand the noise and stink. So they don't even get a chance to burn out with me. I plan on using the smoke unit plug and switch to mount a small fan on the boards instead. Then you get some cooling air over the esc's. |

Do you use a computer chipset fan? I may try this as I don't want the stinky smoke feature either. I don't suppose the smoke power could be used with a mini cam - I think those are usually 9 volt but that would be nice if it could be done. I haven't had any problems with the circuit boards burning out yet but I have heard it is common. I wonder what other accessories might be powered by the smoke electrical. |

personally I've run 40mm fans directly piggybacked from RC power sources..... they run fine at 7.2v(control units for making PC fans quiet run them down to as low as 7v anyway, and 12v max). dunno about bigger fans tho..

I haven't tested to see how much power goes to the smoke unit. But either a computer fan (cheap) or if the voltage is say 6v I will get a 6 volt fan. I haven't had any trouble yet either but I have blown esc's going slow so whats a little extra bit of protection? Only makes sence.... |

Any further thoughts to report on the Walker Bulldog? I really like the looks of that tank. I'd like to know if this latest model has any quality improvements or if it is the standard SS running gear and electronics. |

Well it seems the same internally as my Super Pershing and Tiger. But it does drive a lot nicer the the others. I think the suspension is more efficient and so it flows over obstacles better. |
