Hi everybody, I got my Blizzard past Friday, this forum seems to be filled with some good tricks and tips... :)

But now, I have some questions........

I did my break-in today, and during my 7th tank, my clutch shoes have sticked in the bell.......have this happened to Anyone?

And, is it normal that the Tranny is a bit noisy?

Tank you!

it is probably normal that the tranney is noisey (my EV is)

the shoes of the clutch stuck to the bell?

that means that something, somewhere in the drivetrain is binding bad enough to over-heat the clutch shoes (and the bell) so that the shoes begin to melt

check the brake linkages, make sure they are both dis-engaged, check belt tensioning, chain tensioning ETS, mak sure nothing is binding up on the bliz

It's only the spring around the clutch shoes who felt off...

And it hapenned me again today...it takes 15 minutes to fix it.....but I dont want to do that, each time i'm using it....! But it still is something really nice to drive around! :)

Is it possible there is something in the grove thats keeping the spring from seating firmly?

I haven't heard of a spring falling off like that before. But that would def. explain your problems...

When I've put it back together this afternoon, I cleaned the shoes and sanded them because the clutchbell slept on them, there was nothing in the groove...
The spring is in good condition and the clutch bell to, if it happened a again, I will try a spring that I have with my spare cluch from my Traxxas Jato....

By the way, i'm not new with the hobby and nitro engines, beside my Nitro Blizzard and Traxxas Jato, I own a Team Losi LST wich is highly moded for Racing and a AE RC18B...........

Every hints and tips you guys can provide me, will be grantly appreciated! :D

It might just be a bad spring (too loose) I only have limited experience with that type of setup and never had a problem myself.

If you have trouble again try tightening the spring (by linking it closer together) That should help it stay put. It will also allow for higher RPM engagement (possibly a good thing) Less chance of bog anyways...

I also have a LST, great truck...

Make sure to give us your impressions on the Nitro Blizzard... A lot of people would be interested to know how it runs, speed, power, etc. And pics are always a good thing! :nice:

For the spring, this is what i was thinking to do if it fails again....

I've put some stuff on tape yesterday, and I'll try to take some more today.

Here are some pictures, without stickers on the bodies, I've finish putting them yesterday night.....

Enjoy!
