Making Trax! Posts: 169 Group: Family Member #62 Joined: March 3, 2006	i've had this project sitting on the back burner for some time now and it's probly gonna stay there for now too. i scored these huge tracks. the tracks are made of rubber and they each wieght 20lbs. i also have a partly made tub chassis i'm makeing for it. i'm useing 1/4" steel rod and mig welding it together. it will end up looking like a tuber unimog if i'm lucky. LOL i plan on runnin motors inside each track on seprate ESC's and i want it to be able to articulate like a rockcrawler. who knows....maybe some day we'll see this baby on mars.........

Posts: 169 Group: Family Member #62 Joined: March 3, 2006	wow sorry guy's i haddn't checked this thread in awhile. no progress has been made on this BUT i have taken the idea/design and am in the process of useing it on another project of a smaller scale. atleast this way i'll be able to perfect the design before useing it on a larger scale. the other project is comeing along nicely tho. it's a secret tho till it's done. i take soooo long to build my projects i don't want others to steal my designs before i get them done. but yer all gonna love it when you see it!!!
