yup keep us posted.... My EV didnt arrive today...
hopefully it will be here 2moz..... as for the brace, shouldn't be too hard if its just a rod drilled and tapped at both ends then its just like a monster truck 4 link rod except you only need one, not 8. I'll have a bash at making one when mine gets here.... I knew that Lathe would come in handy....

You got one up on me. Wish I had a lathe. Lately I been using .25 x .12 al tubing tapped with 6-32 studs for links. So atleast that elimenates the drilling
For the brace I will prolly use some of this stuff. Works great for tapping 3mm (which I'm assuming is the stud size for the drive gears?) Kinda wimpy tubing but should work for a brace. |

yeah, that makes life easier if its already a tube...lol I found many answers to "how do I drill the exact centre of an alu rod" back on RCMT.net forums, yet the really good answer would be 'use a lathe' as it makes it so easy you dont even have to mark the centre(provided you use a centre drill to start the hole, which is standard lathe fare) couldnt tell you on the thread size for the drive gears until mine arrives...
