Here are a couple pics of my new Blizzard EV. It has a LRP Shpere ESC and a Novak SS5800 motor. I haven't had time to paint the body yet, but I will post a few pics when it is done.

Awsome!

Can't wait to here about how it goes. Are you planning to brace the chassis to stop flex? I imagine you'll be creating some with that setup. That should eb a pretty hot setup!

Can't wait to hear all the details! :nice:

So far the Sphere seems great. I bought it just for the Blizzard though, so I haven't tried it with any other motors or in anything else.

Here are a couple pics of the finished body. Sorry, no video yet....still too wet here in Illinois. The Sphere isn't waterproof like the other LRP speed controls.

Sorry, I haven't been on here the last few days. I have run it, but I still don't have video yet. It has just been too wet to take it outside. The forcast looks good for the next few days, so MAYBE Sunday I can get my wife to shoot a little video.

No rain or slush here. I am not sure what part of Illinois you are in, but here in central Ill. it has just been too wet/muddy. Trust me, I am a mailman and have to walk in it all day.

well the blizzard should cope with wet conditions, provided its not actually raining on you a little mud shouldnt hurt....

Just a little worried about the Sphere ESC. It's not waterproof. I have the day off but my wife is working today. I will see what time she gets home - if it's still light out I may try to get some video tonight.

It's geared at 78/34 - Thats the smallest spur and the biggest pinion I have. I think it could still go alot quicker.
