I thought it would be fun to see what setup others have for working on/displaying their RC's.

Here's some of my room, this is more of my showroom. The RC's here belong to both me and my dad. I find it actually encourages my studies because I wish to own a hobby shop when I retire (which will be a looooooooong time, only last year of high school right now :P ).

I will take some pics of the workshop later tonight.

Yup, same person here! :nice:

It just looks tidy. But whenever I need something, it takes me at least half an hour to find it! And wait until I take some pics of the workshop, I tried to keep it clean and neat. But I find that it's not possible!

Some quick snapshots of the toy room at the house. Forgive the clutter, never ending projects. :)

Numerous vehicles are missing. My Aquacraft Tug, Fishing boat and V24. The Blizzard EV, Heng Long M26, Tamiya Knight Hauler 1/14th Semi, HPI RS4 Pro in #8 colors, 1/9 Abrams, 1/6th Stuart and others.........

my desk makes for a soldeering station, painting desk, design studio etc.... when it hasnt got RC stuff all over it....

my other maxx lives by the window on the floor...

Wow! Spoon, you have so many tools...and so organized too! :D
Nice collections guys! Keep them coming!

Gimbal, I always thought your creations were the most unique. I remember seeing your stuff on RCMT (when I still could enter that site). Something I remember the most is how all your pics have awesome backgrounds

Ok, heres some pics. You guys don't get to see the floor cause well I am tired and not going to organize the floor! :banghead:

Well first thing you see when you walk into my "dining room" is the rather large storage rack. I really need another one but I have no clue where to put it...
Posted Image

Then on to the main workbench. Most of the grunt work happens here because It has nice light and easy access to plugs.
Posted Image

Then hang a right and you step up to my band saw, and aluminum bender. I also have a second 4" vice that needs to go on this bench... Somehow...
Posted Image

Planes are stored above this bench on a custom rack.
Posted Image

Step to the right and you hit the 3rd bench that holds the scroll saw and drill press.
Posted Image

And lastly I get a kick out of this picture. Its the only place I can put the darn things and theres more hiding in boxes. But then again theres more RC's hiding away too... Sigh I need more room...

Cool OC... :nice:

looks like you got too many RTR's.... I've been selling all my spare cheapy radio's (Tx's) yet I still have 6 of them.... :banghead:

mine isnt all that neat, as you can see where I store my RC's, I also have PC's, CD's books, files etc, not to mention the fact that there are now so many RC's they are literally piling up ontop of one another!

OC, what are you talking about? That's NEAT! Man, I will take a pic of MY work area. It's really messy. I really need another table to put the bandsaw on. It's all crowded on one now.

Btw, OC, did you make that workbench yourself? I need to build one myself too... ;)

 LOL

It did seem a little awkward when the workbench was so clean.

Please let me know if you found those plans, I've been looking to build one myself. I might check the library to see if they have any project books. But that's all after the exams. ;)

Wow, you guys have some awesome little workshops. If i had anywhere near the space and tooling you guys have i'd probably be building totally custom r/c's by now. I'll try to get some shots of my junk, not that it's worth posting after the pics above...LOL
I love how you all have your r/cs on display. I always think i'm spending too much on this hobby until i see how many models others have.

Hey Hpiguy i noticed you've been bitten by the 1/5-1/6 scale bug too. Here's my FG Marder catching some air.
Posted Image

Here are a few pics of my junk. I've got stuff scattered all over the place. First up is my Clodbuster. So far its stock except for the custom made four link suspension and servo mounts.
Posted Image

Here is part of my "workshop". As you can see i've got a band saw and drill press. I'd love to add a lathe and mill but i've got noplace to put it (you should see the rest of the garage, its fulled to the brim with other toys...LOL)
Posted Image

This pic is of my toolboxes. The towel on the Matco box is hiding my 1/6 scale FG Marder because it's in a million pieces. Well it's not really hiding it, but rather protecting it from dust until i get around to getting the parts i need to put it back together.
Posted Image

Last pic is of my Piccolo Fun electric heli. It hasnt seen flight time in years because i'm too lazy to charge the battery and get everything set up only to get 3-5 minutes of run time. BTW if you look at the left of this pic you can see a few of my paintings...i'm a real arteeest...LOL
