Howdy again, So everything went well Christmas,The boy's loved the Blizzard's, Cool bean's. We worked together to install radio gear and set them up. Two minor thing's to look out for, Both Blizzard's brake's were way to tight,no biggie make the adjustment and go.Second, One had both drive chain's installed backward's, The second had only one installed backward's. No biggie once again,I'm not complaining just givin everyone a head's up. Thank's mo |

Sounds like most made up kits or semi made, Like my XB Pajero expert build! yeah right they had a limp wristed worker who put the diff carrier together as the screws come lose and the gears starting making some interesting sounds! Anyway you will have to a get some video if you can off them??

Kenchoco - very few places currently, they all sold out theres a massive back order for january, but you'll have to find stores that stock them. we have a forum dedicated to this purpose of letting folk know stores that carry them: http://s14.invisionfree.com/MakingTrax/index.php?showforum=9 you may have to wait till mid/late jan tho... you can get them on ebay sometimes but the EV is always listed at an elevated price like as if its a vintage/classic model, and Ebay sellers seem to have more of the nitro version.... Got any pics of yours jimmy?

Typical rtr nonsence. While the whole world for the most part wants an rtr and doesn't want to take the time to build anything anymore. You have to remember that most RC's would be made in an asembly line by the lowest bidder. So theres bound to be mistakes that need to be checked over. Just a fact of life... I wish that that would always be a kit version to build. That means so much to me. That first build. It teaches you so much about the workings of the kit. Your kits is as good as you make it and mistakes are your own fault so theres no one to blame but yourself. I used to take rtr's apart the first night and rebuild them. Alas, these days having kids I am having a harder time doing things like that so I just make a point of going over the entire model and hope for the best. |

true... I've only had the one RTR it was my first E-maxx, it was cool except that the bullet connectors weren't in properly on the one motor and the slipper was well loose....would have had the go of a lethargic snail if I'd left it....
