 Hey man, just saw this on the bay, in Canada.

So what's the story with Kyosho? Why have they jumped off all the distributors boats?

 Darn I wish I wasn't stretched so thin already... A DX would be nice.

From everything I hear. Kyosho dumped Great Planes because they were only being sold thru Tower Hobbies. And barely at that. A LHS getting Kyosho parts thru Great Planes couldn't begin to match Towers price and so they were hardly getting out there. If Tower refused to sell it then as far as North America was concerned it didn't exist. Not a good mix.

Now that they have their own distributor, hobby shops can more easily aquire Kyosho. I just wish they had chosen to go the route HPI went. Then anybody and their dog could have them. But as it is it's already easier for the lhs. My lhs now has Kyosho for the first time. It was never worth signing up until now.

 Welcome Gimbal!! :nice:

I hope this makes for better distribution in the long run...the worldwide distribution is pretty poor at best. in the UK its pretty crappy, none of their MT's are sold here, yet I can get as much Mini Inferno or Mini Z stuff as I can eat....(so to speak).

 ...so since I don't have a LHS, then I gotta go to www.ultimatehobbies.com or some other shop with online support. That's fine, kinda sucks that Tower doesn't carry them, but then I have always had a soft spot for the little guy anyways :D
And the free shipping for orders over $100 is great from ultimate :nice: Just hope they carry it into 2006...

I'm definetely hot to get an EV! Checking for availability daily :lol:

 The next boatload is due to arrive in January. Everyone is getting on the back order list to make sure we get them. Give Ultimate a call. I know guys are getting much better deals then by ordering from their site.

Ultimates only downfall is they only ship in the US. Those in Canada and else where have to look somewhere else.
